Time doesn't enforce itself on the world in the same ways. An art gallery is a place of illumination and aesthetic worship, which is ever-growing with the collections of patrons and of their own individual artistic tastes. Time in this regard is simply that which synthesises individual artistic expression, & compounds it, creating a vibrant mixture of styles; periods and ideas incarnated into diverse medias.A printing press works much the same way, accumulating their own collections and giving flesh to ideas.
